Good morning!
Welcome to day two of the Papertrey Ink July release countdown posts! Today we are featuring the new Yellow Sunshine stamp set, Bold Borders: Prism die set, and Banners & Pennants stamp set.
All of the new products being showcased today will be available July 15th at 10 pm ET.
My first card features the new Yellow Sunshine stamp set combined with the new Bold Borders: Prism die set. I am so excited about this stamp set! When I first received this set, I sat down and sketched a TON of ideas out and I cannot wait to be able to create them all! I absolutely adore the watercolor swooshes in this set and think they will be lovely paired with other sets as well!
For this card, I didn't use any of the lovely swooshes, but chose a sentiment that fit inside the new Bold Borders: Prism frame.
I added some flowers from the Gran's Garden stamp set at the top of the card. I have to say, I normally don't use bright yellows or oranges but I really love how they look on this card! :-)
After die cutting the border die, I sponged it in an ombre pattern using bright yellows and oranges.

My second card features the new Banners & Pennants stamp and die set. I started by die cutting the banner die and lightly sponging on some Harvest Gold ink. I stamped one of the images from the Banners & Pennants stamp set all over the banner using Soft Stone ink.
When I first started creating my card, I thought it would be fun to turn this banner die into a pocket. I then decided to fill the pocket with flowers so I stamped and die cut several flowers and leaves from the Botanical Bounty II stamp set.
For the sentiment, I die cut the Be Brave sentiment from the Banner die set. The strip of patterned paper is from the new Berry Sorbet Bitty Big paper pack.
