Welcome to the first day of the Papertrey Ink September release countdown posts! Over the next several days we will be sharing with you so many lovely new products perfect for all of your Holiday projects and more!
Today I'm featuring the Merry Mug, Sentiment Staples: Christmas, and Sweet Stitching stamp sets along with the Say It Simply: You & Yours die. All of the new products being showcased today will be available September 15th at 10 pm ET.
What could be more cozy than a warm and festive cuppa? I just love the Merry Mug set that Lizzie has designed! I also love how many little details she has included in both the stamp and die set!
I started by creating a subtle background using the Mix & Mat: Berry Boughs die set. I stamped and die cut the mug using softer versions of the traditional Christmas red and green colors.
I added a couple of sentiments from the new Sentiment Staples: Christmas stamp set. I embellished with some string and a wooden heart.
My second card features the new Sweet Stitching stamp set (and coordinating Impression Plate), designed by Dawn. There are SO many different ways to create patterns with this set! You can create a pattern full of color and texture in just a matter of minutes!
I started by using the Sweet Stitching Impression Plate to die cut the red background. I layered it over white cardstock and then stamped the different patterns using Pure Poppy and Aqua Mist inks.
I die cut the sentiment using the new Say It Simply: You & Yours die from Aqua Mist cardstock. I added a little bit of sponging using Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores ink along the bottom part of the die cut.
