Welcome back to the fifth and final day of the Papertrey Ink October release countdown posts!
Today we're featuring the Potbellies Die Collection, Potbellies Sentiments stamp set, and Twinkling Trees stamp and die set. All of the new products being showcased today will be available October 15th at 10 pm ET.
My first project is a gift and card duo created with the new Twinkling Trees stamp and coordinating die set. When I first saw this set I really couldn't wait to create a modern/graphic looking card.
The two large tree dies (from the Twinkling Trees die set) are absolutely perfect for decorating gifts!! They are small enough to fit onto a card but large enough to be a focal image on a gift. This one was so quick and easy to create. I die cut the large tree outline from white cardstock and ran it through my die machine again using the star cutout die.
I adhered the tree onto a black kraft gift bag that I picked up at Micheals. I embellished the bag with some ribbon and fibers from my stash.
One of my favorite things about this set is the mix of sentiments included! There are so many different options available to create the perfect sentiment!
I combined three separate sentiments on my card. For the focal image, I stamped and die cut the small tree three times. The black circle is die cut using the Shape Shifters: Circle 1 die set.
My next project features the new Potbellies: Santa die set and Potbellies Sentiments stamp set. I am completely SMITTEN with these new Potbellies dies!! I can't think of a cuter way to dress up a gift or card!
As detailed as this looks, this was surprisingly quick to create! I don't know about you, but I'm ALL about quick and cute projects for Christmas! :-)
I stamped two of the sentiments from the Potbellies Sentiments stamp set around the die cut center.
Because the candy I chose was a little larger, I used two of the Clear Large Bubbles (linked below).
For the finishing touch, I stamped and cut out the heart (from the Potbellies Sentiments stamp set) and adhered it on top of the Clear Bubble.
