Hi there! I'm participating with this week's Papertrey Ink Throwback Thursday and today we're featuring Harvest Berries! Harvest Berries is one of those classic and elegant sets that can be used for almost any occasion...in short, my favorite kind of stamp set! :-)
As it gets closer to the Holidays, I tend to turn towards making easy to reproduce thank you cards. For me, this means cutting back on the layers and embellishments but still wanting to create something that will make an impression. The leaves in Harvest Berries are bold enough to take center stage, making it the perfect set for creating these kinds of cards!
I started by stamping the large leaf image using Weathervane ink. I stamped and die cut another image in black to layer over the gray one, creating a shadow effect.
I die cut the berries (using the Harvest Berries die set) out of both gold and Harvest Gold cardstock. This would be the perfect way to personalize the card, using red for the Holidays or pink for spring.
For the sentiment, I chose one from the You Made My Day set. A two layer card is almost unheard of for me to create, but the stunning leaves and pop of color berries really do steal the show. :-)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
