It's day two of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown posts! Over the next several days we will be sharing with you so many lovely new products!
Today I'm sharing projects created with the new Glorious Globes: November stamp set and Nesting Basics: Pierced Rectangles die set. All of the new products being showcased today will be available November 15th at 10 pm ET.
My first card features the new Glorious Globes: November stamp set along with the Nesting Basics: Pierced Rectangles die set. I love how many of the Glorious Globes stamp sets can be used independently from the Glorious Globes: Basics stamp set like I did on this card. I used four different images to create this wintery card.
For the background, I started by sponging the background with Lovely Lilac, Amethyst Allure, Spring Rain, and Blueberry ink and then splattering it with white and dark blue paint. To frame in the images, I used three of the largest Nesting Basics: Pierced Rectangles dies. I just love the texture this gives!
It's hard to see from the photo, but I embossed the snowflakes using silver embossing powder. After I had the majority of the circles adhered to the background I added some machine stitching.
For my second card, I stuck with some more traditional holiday colors. I created a textured background by using two rectangles from the Nesting Basics: Pierced Rectangles die set on both the top and bottom of the card.
For the focal images, I stamped and die cut the globes using the Glorious Globes: November and Glorious Globes: Basics. I embellished with snowflake die cuts and Beautiful Berries: Winter.
For more embellishment, I added some red sequins and mini clear droplets.
For my third project, I created a clean simple tag duo. There is just something so elegant about including black cardstock onto Christmas projects!
I used some modern colors to create this tag duo, black and white with a pop of color.
For a finishing touch, I added a silver sequin to the middle of the single snowflake.
