Welcome to the first day of the Papertrey Ink January release countdown posts! A brand new year and brand new stamps and dies...yay! Over the next several days we will be sharing projects created with fun and unique new stamps and dies! :-)
Today we are featuring: Corner Adorner: January stamp set, Let's Fiesta stamp set, Shape Shifters: Square 4 die set, and Nesting Basics: Pierced Ovals die set. All of the new products being showcased today will be available January 15th at 10 pm ET.
Oh my goodness, how I love this new stamp set!! The Let's Fiesta set has both an old world feel and a touch of fun modern whimsy!
I created a colorful background by stamping the two banner images using Harvest Gold, Berry Sorbet, Aqua Mist, and New Leaf inks. I then stamped a couple of the circular paper fan images (I only used the detail images...not the bold base layers) in Soft Stone ink on top of the banners.
I layered the focal images on top of some squares, layered over a vellum die cut (from the new Shape Shifters: Square 4 die set).
Lizzie has created another must have Corner Adorner set! The new Corner Adorner: January is definitely perfect for celebrations but also for everyday cards as well! The dots can look like confetti or when stamped in a softer color, they add a subtle texture that is perfect for backgrounds!
After stamping the corner images in Aqua Mist ink, I layered on the decorative square die cut (from the new Shape Shifters: Square 4 die set). I die cut the inner part of the die set from Lemon Tart and Harvest Gold cardstock. I created a medallion look by layering the two die cuts after trimming a bit off of the edges.
I embellished with flowers from the Garden Party stamp set.
