Choosing a favorite PTI color is almost as hard as choosing a favorite stamp set! :-) I decided to go back through my past year's creations and I noticed how often I used both Pure Poppy and Aqua Mist. Not only are these colors lovely by themselves, but they look amazing together as well!
I created two identically designed cards in both Aqua Mist and Pure Poppy. I started by stenciling on some polka dots to create the monochromatic background. I embossed the sentiment (from the Pen & Ink stamp set) using white detail embossing powder.
The leafy garland and flowers are from the Garden Garland die set. I lightly sponged the flowers using a lighter color than the cardstock color. For the Pure Poppy card I used Sweet Blush and Berry Sorbet inks. On the Aqua Mist card I sponged on Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores ink.
