Hi friends! Did you see the new challenge post on the Papertrey Ink blog this morning? With over $150 in prizes up for grabs, Wednesdays just got a whole lot more exciting! One of those challenges is a new one that I am so happy to be hosting and where it is totally okay and even encouraged to play favorites!
This week the focus is on your favorite Papertrey Ink stamp set! This is the perfect opportunity to ink up an old favorite or break in a brand new one! Just by playing along, you will be entered to win a $100 gift certificate!
The hardest part of this challenge for me, was actually choosing a favorite! Ha! I knew it had to be a floral set, because honestly I am a sucker for anything with flowers! :-) My favorite definitely changes almost weekly, but for now I chose Peonies on Parade. I love how this set works so well with many different coloring mediums.
I also appreciate that there are so many different sized flowers included in the set, making it easy to create a bouquet!
I started by embossing three of the included flowers and coloring them in with watercolor paint. After die cutting them out, I added some chunky clear glitter to parts of each flower.
I arranged the flowers on a True Black oval that I die cut using the Shape Shifters: Oval 1 die set. The sentiment is from the Banner Style stamp set (die cut with the coordinating Banner Style die set). The patterned paper is from the Bitty Big: True Black patterned paper pack. You probably guess this already, but yeah...the True Black is definitely my favorite! (((grin)))
