Hello again! Like many other places in the U.S., we are currently experiencing a LOT of snow! In fact, we received a call that they will be unable to run our son's school bus. That might not seem like a big deal to a lot of you, but here in Montana they almost ALWAYS run the school buses! Twenty below zero? No problem! A foot of snow? We'll just allow ourselves an extra 15 minutes for traveling! School isn't cancelled though...oh no! It takes more than a mere foot or two of snow to do that! Ha! They aren't running the bus out where we live (an hour from town) because they have closed the roads. Needless to say my kids are thrilled! :-) While my kids are sleeping in, I will be tucked away in my warm little stamp room spending some quality time getting my fingers inky! :-)
Speaking of getting fingers inky, have you checked out this week's Fabulous Favorites challenge? It's all about your favorite Papertrey Ink accessory! If you play along, you will be entered to win a $100 Papertrey Ink gift certificate!
If you are wondering what kind of accessories Papertrey Ink has, you can find them all HERE. From glitter and string to buttons and felt...there is so much to choose from! And chances are you have several in your stash already! :-)
For me, this challenge was super easy! I absolutely adore Papertrey's buttons! Not only do I love adding them to my projects, but they make the prettiest decoration! Remember this photo of my stamp room?
Yeah, I do love me some Papertrey buttons! :-) So of course I chose them for my favorite accessory!
I paired the Birthday Balloon die with rainbow cardstock colors. I added a coordinating button to each balloon.
For the background, I used one of the Stencil Basics: Dots stencils and Aqua Mist ink to create a partial dots pattern. The balloon strings are from the Birthday Balloons stamp set. The sentiment is from the Birthday Strings stamp set.
To read more about the challenges and to enter your creation make sure to check out the Papertrey Ink blog!
Thanks so much for joining me here today!
