Hi there! It's my turn to host the Transformation Tuesday challenge over at the Papertrey Ink blog. It's a fun challenge where you use one of your own previous creations as inspiration to create a new one!
Instead of choosing one of my cards that didn't turn out like I had wanted it to (read: it was a flop), I chose one of my favorites and just changed the colors and style a bit to better fit the recipient.
I do love me some black cardstock! This was one was one of my favorites from the July 2017 release and features the Infinity Frames and Stemmed Sentiments sets.
As much as I loved the black cardstock on the original card, I was really wanting something softer. I went with a white card base and background. I did add some color by sponging on some Fossilized Amber Distress Ink and then splattering on some gold paint.
I die cut and embossed three flowers from the Stemmed Sentiments set. I watercolored the flowers and then added some fine glitter when the paint was dry.
I created the frame by die cutting two of the dies from the Double Ups: Rectangles die set.
To tie in a bit of black because...well black is awesome...I used True Black cardstock for the sentiment banner.
Thanks so much for joining me here today!
