Welcome back to day three of the new Ink to Paper company! As many of you have already read, Papertrey Ink will be switching over to a mostly wholesale company (which is great news because it means that the products will still be available through retailers)! Ink to Paper is a fresh new brand that will not only offer new monthly product collections but will also carry many of your favorite Papertrey Ink staples (such as cardstock and ink colors)! You can read the latest newsletter with more detailed info HERE.
Today we are featuring the new World's Best Dad, Rustic Brick, and Simply Sweet: You sets! All of the new items will be available for purchase on May 15th at 10 pm ET!
I am SO happy that Melissa Bickford is designing stamps again! I adore her style!! The new Simply Sweet: You set that she illustrated is SOOOO cute!
Those mountains!!! LOVE! It is safe to say that we are a huge nature loving family! Living so close to several mountain ranges, most of our free time is spent there! So when I saw Melissa's set, I knew that this would be a staple for me. Birthdays, thank yous, thinking of yous, and even graduation cards...I plan on using this for all of them! :-)
I started by stamping one of the images from the Watercolor Textures: Brushstrokes stamp set using Green Parakeet, Orange Zest, and Hawaiian Shores to create the background for the mountains.
I used one of the little heart dies (included in the Simply Sweet: You die set) to add a few hearts scattered around the images.
My next card features the new World's Best Dad and Rustic Brick stamp sets. I have to say, this card was SO much fun to make! Sometimes a girl just needs to get inky, know what I mean? :-)
I started by embossing one of the Rustic Brick stamps (the set comes with two) using clear embossing powder onto Kraft cardstock. I then used three different Distress Oxide Ink pads to add some color.
I stamped a couple of the sentiments from the World's Best Dad stamp set. For embellishment, I added some hand stitching along the top, ink splatters on the background, and wooden stars and bike.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back tomorrow with more peeks!
