Holiday Create-A-thon: You're Amazing

Hey friends!  I'm back today with another project for Ink to Paper's month long Holiday Create-A-thon!  For the whole month of November, there will be brand new Fall and Holiday inspiration every day over at the Ink to Paper blog! 

Today I'm sharing a card featuring the Rustic Brick Background and Just Sentiments: Tagged sets!

 

I know I've mentioned this before, but I seriously LOVE background stamps!  I especially love ones that can be used for almost any occasion, like the Loosely Woven or Rustic Brick sets!

 

I was kind of going for a rainbow color scheme but I ended up using more Autumn colored hues.  I decided to just go with it and added some leaves (from the Lovely Leaves set) to continue with the Fall look.

For the background, I embossed the Rustic Brick background using black detail embossing powder.  I then sponged on some Distress Oxide ink.  The die cut thanks is from the To Die For Sentiments: Cursive Thanks die.  I stamped the You're Amazing sentiment (from Just Sentiments: Tagged set) onto a die cut banner (from the Banner Builder: Basics die set). 

Fun stamping fact:  Vellum has always been (and still is) my absolute favorite specialty paper!  There is SO much you can do with it!  With a minimal amount of effort you can achieve extraordinary results!

Holiday Create-A-thon: Beachy Keen Christmas Wishes

 

Hey friends!  I'm back today with another project for Ink to Paper's month long Holiday Create-A-thon!  For the whole month of November, there will be brand new Fall and Holiday inspiration every day over at the Ink to Paper blog! 

Today I'm sharing a card featuring the Beachy Keen and Bon Voyage sets!

 

I love being able to use stamps sets for multiple seasons! Here I combined Beachy Keen, Bon Voyage, with a few sprigs of greenery from the Floral Christmas set.  The addition of the holiday greenery turns an everyday card into a festive one! 

I did some ink blending on the background to create an almost night scene.  Afterwards I splattered on some dark blue paint for a bit of added texture.

 

After adhering the palm trees (from Beachy Keen), I tucked in several sprigs from the Floral Christmas set.  The sentiment and banner is from the Bon Voyage set.

For embellishment, I scattered on some wooden stars.

Fun stamping fact:  I use a stamp positioner of some sort on almost every project I create!  It is definitely one of my most used tools!  Back before the MISTI was created, I used one of the old school stamp positioners.  I have a very real (and probably unhealthy) fear of crooked sentiments!  😂

Holiday Create-A-thon: Poinsettia Christmas

Hey friends!  I'm back today with another project for Ink to Paper's month long Holiday Create-A-thon!  For the whole month of November, there will be brand new Fall and Holiday inspiration every day over at the Ink to Paper blog! 

Today I'm sharing a card featuring the Tag creations: Modern Gift die set!

I LOVE this die set (Tag Creations: Modern Gift)!  Like  super duper, heart eyes love!  The gift card pocket, different paper ribbons/bow, tags, and greenery are all dies that can be used year round!  Just add in a different flower and you have a year round design!

I have to say that this poinsettia die is gorgeous!  I love the etched details so much!  I also really like that there are two sizes!

I started by creating an ombre ink blended background using several different shades of pink.

I die cut a handful of poinsettias from white cardstock, sponged some pink ink to the centers, and then adhered them all over the background.  I added a bit of glitter to each bloom for a bit of sparkle.  For the sentiment, I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment (from the Season's Greetings set) onto a die cut frame (from the It's A Sign: Hanging Frames Stitched Layers).

Fun stamping fact:  I create a LOT more thank you cards than any other kind!  In fact, I would say it's like four times more than any other.  When I think about it, it's pretty awesome that I have so many things and people in my life to be thankful for!  ❤️

Holiday Create-A-thon: Sweet Christmas Memories

Hey friends!  I'm back today with another project for Ink to Paper's month long Holiday Create-A-thon!  For the whole month of November, there will be brand new Fall and Holiday inspiration every day over at the Ink to Paper blog! 

Today I'm sharing a couple of little gifties created using the It's A Sign: Hanging Frames and It's A Sign: Holiday Sentiments sets!

 

I LOVE giving little handmade gifties!  I especially love to do this at Christmas!  It just seems like the perfect time to let people I know how much I appreciate them!  To me, a little bit of handmade love is the perfect way to do that! 

 

After die cutting and assembling the little gift wrapping (using the Tent Style Packaging die), I stamped the snowflakes from the It's A Sign: Holiday Sentiments set.  I added a bit of patterned paper to the bottom.

The super cute little signs were created by stamping and die cutting using the It's A Sign: Hanging Frames stamp and die sets.  The sentiment is from the It's A Sign: Holiday Sentiments set.

 

I filled these two gifts with mini candy canes, but any smaller treat can be used.  I was thinking about adding some gift certificates or gift cards (along with a few treats of course) to some as well.  In fact, this is probably what I will be giving my boys' teachers this year!

Fun stamping fact:  Besides white (because yeah, everyone loves white LOL), True Black is my most used cardstock color.  Yeah, I get that black is technically not a color but still...  :-)

Ink to Paper - More November Mini Release Inspiration

Hey friends!  I have one more project that I created using some of the goodies from the Ink to Paper November mini release!  Don't forget, the release is TONIGHT at 10 pm ET! 

 

My card features four of the new products!  I used three of the new Border products!  I started by die cutting the Basic Border: Rectangle from True Black cardstock.  I then ran it through my die cutting machine again using the Border Bling: Stitched.  These are designed to go with the Basic Border: Rectangle die but also look great on their own!  I love how versatile they are!

 

The fun lights border is from the Border: Bling: String Lights die set.  Again, this can be combined with the rectangle border or used by itself!

I die cut the lights using both Gold and Silver Luxe paper.

 

The stamped sentiment is from the new Inside Greetings: God's Love set.  I also added the die cut Believe (from the To-Die For Sentiments: Christmas die set).  I actually die cut it twice from True Black cardstock and once from Gold Luxe paper and layered them together.  I find that it holds up better when popped up like I did here.
