Welcome back to day two of the May Ink to Paper new release posts! As always, the release will go live on the 15th of the month at 10 pm ET. SO many beautiful products in this release, perfect for spreading some a little sunshine to to loved one and friends!
Today we are sharing projects featuring the new Floral Delicacies stamp set and In Stitches: Back Pocket die set.
For my card, I combined both of today's new products. I used the large pocket die in the In Stitches: Back Pocket die set.
Isn't this such a unique and gorgeous floral set? I just love how cheerful these blooms are! I definitely took some creative liberties and stamped the flowers in Raspberry Fizz and Pure Poppy Inks. :-) What can I say, I wanted to see these beauties in a bold color!
For the pocket, I die cut the large pocket die twice using Vintage Cream felt. For the top flap, I used Aqua Mist felt.
I stitched both pocket pieces together on the sides and bottom. I wanted to be able to tuck a gift card in the pocket. How cute would these be for a graduation gift?
Some of the other details that I added to the card include: rounded corners, subtle paint wash over the patterned paper, die cut leaves tucked in under the pocket (from the coordinating Floral Delicacies die set), and a wooden heart.
