Hey there! Welcome to the first day of the May Ink to Paper sneak peeks! All of the new products that we share over the next several days will be available for purchase on May 15th at 10 pm ET.
This release is jam packed with a whole bunch of summery goodness! Even though this year has absolutely flown by so far, I am so ready for the warm weather! ☀️😊
My first project that I am sharing today features the new Summer Shells die set. This die set is so perfect for almost any summer or beach project! I love all of the details included!
I created a wreath by die cutting a handful of greenery (included in the Summer Shells die set). I carefully bent each die cut before adhering them together in a circle. I overlapped the ends so the wreath flowed better.
I splattered the kraft background with some gold paint. I love the subtle shimmer and texture it adds! For the shells, I lightly sponged just part of them to add a hint of color.

My next two card are very similar in design. I just changed up the sentiment and colors. This is actually one of my favorite ways of making multiple cards. I save time by die cutting all of the images at once but the little differences keep each card fresh and interesting.
I had a couple of backgrounds that I created a while ago using some alcohol inks and thought they would be perfect here.
The sentiment is from the new Just Sentiments: Summer set.
I added a piece of vellum cardstock on top of the background to soften it and help the white shells stand out a bit more.
For embellishment, I scattered on a few wooden hearts.
It's hard to tell in the photo, but I sprayed all of the shells with a clear shimmer spray before splattering them with some gold paint. You can see the shine in person...I love it!

My next card features the new Message in a Bottle die and stamp set! I am in love with this set...it's SO unique and fun to create with! There are just so many possibilities with this one! I can't wait to combine it with other sets!
I chose some bright, summery colors and die cut the bottle die three times. I created shaker cards with the orange and yellow bottle and then added the sentiment scroll to the center Berry Sorbet bottle.
I embellished the bottles with the included flower dies, sequins, and a sentiment from the new Inside Greetings: Summer set.
