Just Give Me Stamps...: Bella BLVD

Love > Fear

Good morning! I'm sharing a couple of cards created with the brand new Bella Blvd/Illustrated Faith collection Faith > Fear. And the best news is that they are now available for purchase!

The new Faith > Fear collection is a lovely black and white collection, full of gorgeous patterns and embellishments!

After choosing a patterned paper from the Paper Pad, I added some pops of color using dies, colored cardstock, and ink. I embellished with a border (from the Borders sheet), stickers, and bit of lace and string.

My second card also features more of the Faith > Fear collection. This time, I added color with a watercolored background and did some ink blending on one of the Ephemera pieces. I also stamped a few arrows at the top (from the Clear Stamp set).

Bella Blvd - Using Scraps on Cards

Hi friends! This week, the Bella Blvd Creative Team is being challenge to create projects using scraps! This is a wonderful challenge for me as I always keep all of my paper scraps. I mean, the paper is just too pretty to toss! :-)

I have two cards to share with you, both of them featuring lots and lots of paper scraps!

For my first card, I did one of my favorite things with scraps...tear the bottom and layer them on top of each other! The white torn edge helps to differentiate the different patterns and gives a visual break without adding extra cardstock mats. I embellished with several Paper Pieces from the Illustrated Faith Basics collection.

My second card features scraps from the Make Your Mark collection (one of my favorites)! The gold "Believe In Yourself" sentiment is actually the bottom of one of the 6 x 8 Paper Pad pages. I had used the top part on a different project months ago but couldn't part with the lovely lettering so I kept it. I'm so glad I did! I made it the focal image of my card, adding in more scrap layers behind it.

The striped gold paper is from the 6 x 8 Clear Cuts pad and I had just enough left to add this layer to my card. It was perfect! Again, I embellished with Paper Pieces. I also added in some stickers from the Fundamentals sticker sheet and one of the Puffy Stickers.

Land That I Love

Hi friends! Happy, happy 4th of July to my American friends!!! I hope that today is filled with lots of friends, family, love, and safe celebrations! <3

My next card features more of the Oh My Stars collection! There is something so comforting about the Red, White, & Blue colors together don't you think?

Popsicles & Pandas

Hi there friends! I have a couple of cards to share with you today! I created these using the super cute Popsicles & Pandas collection from Bella Blvd. This collection has such cute images, fun patterns, bold and bright colors...totally my style!

For my first card, I started by adding a quick yellow watercolor wash to the background. I layered on some strips of patterned paper (from the 6 x 8 Paper Pad) to ground the pandas. Some Paper Pieces, Puffy Stickers, and regular stickers were added for embellishment.

This cute little card all started with the adorable Snailed It! image (from the Daily Details sheet)! I thought it would be perfect for an end of the year card for one of my kiddos! I decorated with some Epoxy DooDads (I used the stars) and a Designer Clip. A bit of Confetti Washi Tape helped to pull all of the colors together.

Bella Blvd Delight in His Day Collection

Hi friends! I'm popping in to share a couple of cards I created with Bella Blvd's Delight in His Day collection. Bright fun colors, happy images, and uplifting sentiments...these are reasons why this is one of my favorite collections! :-)

My first card is one that I designed to be used as either a celebration card or a birthday card. When the need arises, I can stamp an occasion specific sentiment on the inside. I started by cutting apart two 3 x 4's (from the 3 x 4's paper). I layered them on top of a piece of colored paper from the 6 x 8 Paper Pad. I grounded the 3 x 4's by adhering a couple of borders (from the Borders paper) at an angle towards the bottom of the card.

I embellished with a couple of Paper Pieces, Epoxy Sticker, Mini Hexi Stickers, and alpha stickers.

My next card started with the large pink heart. I cut it out from the 6 x 8 Clear Cuts pad. I added some stitching to the heart for some added texture as well as to attach it to the cardstock. I chose some paper from the same Delight in His Day collection to add to my card.

I wanted more white space on this card so the writing on the heart would stand out more. I embellished with Paper Pieces, Washi Tape, Enamel Dots, and a flower and leaves that I die cut using coordinating paper from the 6 x 8 Paper Pad.
