Ink to Paper June Release - Day 2

Welcome back to the second day of the June Ink to Paper sneak peeks!  Whether you live by a beach, a large city, or in/near the mountains you will be absolutely smitten with all the new summery goodness coming your way!  This release is full of beaches, relaxed and fun summer images, lovely and whimsical flowers, and more!  All of the new items will be released on June 15th at 10 pm ET.

 

From scrapbooking to cards and gift projects, these super cute Vintage Travel images are perfect for so many different occasions!  My first thought when I saw this set was how versatile the tags are!  I love the different borders and shapes of them!

I have let my scrap cardstock bin get out of hand.  Like really really out of hand.  I've made it my mission in the coming month to try to only pull from it instead of immediately getting a new piece.  This card is my first attempt!  Since I absolutely adore all things rainbow, of course this was what I chose to do!  😂

After I had my cardstock strips adhered, I decided that I wanted to soften it just a bit.  I grabbed a piece of vellum and trimmed it down to leave a decent border of the background showing.  And in case you were wondering, yes the vellum was from my scrap bin!  I am so winning at this!

I pulled some of the colors from my background to stamp the images from the new Vintage Travel set.  I clustered them together for a fun, whimsical look.

 

Okay guys, this new Go To Gift Card Holder: Suitcase die set is amazing!  There are just a few different components so it is very quick and easy to assemble!  This would be perfect for not only travel occasions but how cute would these be for kids going off to college or camp?  I just love it!

I created a very girly version using lots of pink and other bright colors.  I combined it with the Perfect Pair: Commodities stamp and die set.

The flowers are a mixture from Into the Blooms and Into the Blooms 2 die sets.  For the background, I stenciled on some polka dots for a subtle tone on tone look.

Here's a peek at the inside.  The perfectly die cut notches will hold a gift card or other similarly sized items.

 

 

For my final project today I created another gift card holder.  I went a bit more vintage with this design.  I started with a Vintage Jadeite base and lightly stamped the background using the previously release Loosely Woven stamp set.

Okay, I had to get a closeup of these zipper pulls.  I mean, how CUTE are these things?  I love them!!

 

I stamped several of the Vintage Travel images all over the front for an old travel sticker look.  To change up the appearance of the suitcase a little, I adhered two thin strips of Cocoa Bean cardstock to the front.

The sentiment is from the Say It Essentials set.



Gift cards are awesome, but so is money!!  I would never turn down a gift containing money!  LOL!

I was instantly taken with the new Feathered Friends 12 die set!  Flamingos are such interesting birds, aren't they?  We live on the very edge of Southwest Montana.  Since my kids were small, we traveled to Idaho Falls, Idaho to visit their little zoo.  Even though it's a small one, it is definitely one of the nicer ones we have visited.  Out of all the animals there, my kids were always drawn to the flamingos.  They wanted to spend all of their time there!  So these birds bring a smile to my face whenever I see them!  ❤️

I absolutely love how detailed these dies are!  As you can see from this photo, both the main body and wing dies have all these little extra etchings and details that make them even more fabulous!

Another new products I used on my card is this lovely frame die from the new Border Bling: Flower Frame die set.  I actually used the smaller die from the set.  The sentiment is from the previously released Many Anemones set.  It's still one of my favorites.  :-)

Ink to Paper May Release - Day 4

Welcome back to the fourth and final day of the May Ink to Paper sneak peeks!  All of the new products that we share over the next several days will be available for purchase tomorrow, May 15th at 10 pm ET!

 

This month, I am needing seven graduation cards and gifts.  Next month I will need a handful as well!  I was SO thrilled to see the new Perfect Pairs: Essentials set!  It's the ideal sentiments set that can be used all year long!

For my card/gift, I started out with the Go-To Gift Card: Congratulations Graduate die set.  I saw that this is out of stock, but this is definitely one you'll want to be notified of when it comes back in stock...it is SO fun!  And easy! 

I layered on some flowers from both the Into the Blooms 1 and Into the Blooms 2 die sets.  I completed the card with the paired sentiment from the Perfect Pairs: Essentials set.

My second card features the new Feathered Friends Mini 11 set along with the Say It Essentials set.  I again used both the Into the Blooms 1 and Into the Blooms 2 die sets to create a background for my owl.

The Say It Essentials is very much like the Perfect Pairs: Essentials set in that it has almost everything you will need for year round crafting!  Where as the Perfect Pair set is pretty large, these are designed to fit almost anywhere on your card.

I stamped the owl (from the Feathered Friends Mini 11 set) using light, neutral colors.  I wanted a softer looking owl to mix with the pretty blooms on my card.

Ink to Paper May Release - Day 3

Welcome back to the third day of the May Ink to Paper sneak peeks!  All of the new products that we share over the next several days will be available for purchase on May 15th at 10 pm ET.

Today we are sharing some fantastic new patriotic dies!  These are perfect for all the paper crafting projects:  cards, scrapbooks, gifts, & party decor (including place settings)!

My first card features the new To Die For Sentiment: God Bless America.  I kept my design very simple, using patterned paper (Bitty Big: Dark Indigo and Bitty Big: Pure Poppy) for my background.

I die cut the sentiment using gold cardstock.  I added a piece of Kraft cardstock to serve as a visual border between the two patterned paper pieces.

For embellishment, I added two wooden stars.  The white circle is from the Love to Layer: Scalloped Circles die set.

My next card features the new Love to Layer: American Flag die set.  There is actually three parts to this set, which makes it so easy to create multi colored projects very quickly!

The sentiment is from the new Perfect Pair: Commodities stamp and die set. 

Before assembling the different layers, I used some Distress ink to add a vintage look.

For the background, I die cut the Cover Plate: Trellis die in Kraft for a tone on tone look.

You guys!  You all are going to LOVE today's products!  I mean, as soon as I read that one of the new sets was Into the Blooms 2, I pretty much shouted "Sold!"

My first card features the new Vase Collection stamp and die set.  The sentiments are from the new Perfect Pair: Commodities set.

One of my favorite things about this vase is the size and how it fits SO many previously released Ink to Paper flowers!

For the background, I die cut some patterned paper and vellum cardstock using one of the Round Off Edgers dies.  I used the vellum as an overlay of sorts to soften the patterned papers a bit.

In this photo you can see the gloss on the vase.  I added some Glossy Accents to give it a more realistic look.

My second card features the new Into the Blooms 2 die set as well as the new Feathered Friends 11 die set.

These flowers are SO fun to create with!  I added a bit of ink sponging for some added depth and paint splatters for more texture.

This sweet owl is the perfect addition to these flowers, don't you think?  I kept my owl more neutral to stand out a little against the bright flower colors.

I used another sentiment pair from the Perfect Pair: Commodities stamp set.
