Today we are featuring the new Autumn Wreath Builder stamp set along with the new Peaceful Roses Incentive Set! 

 

  

Gina creates the loveliest floral sets!  I love how realistic they look!  They make me want to improve my coloring skills!  :-)

For my card, I started by stamping the rose image onto Kraft cardstock and coloring them in with colored pencils.  For the background, I used the new Mandala stencil (it's my absolute FAVORITE) to create a tone on tone look.

 

 

 

 

I cannot tell you how excited I am about the new Autumn Wreath Builder stamp set!!  Two of my favorite things all in one wonderful package, Autumn and wreaths!  If you are not familiar with Gina's genius Wreath Builder system, you can find more info HERE.

I think my favorite part of this new set is that there are so many images that can be used year round, making it so versatile!

 

It might be hard to see in the photo, but I used some rustic twine to stitch the flower centers.  For the finishing touch, I splattered on some gold paint.

Today you are in for such a treat!  We are featuring two new beautiful stamp sets!  The first set is called Just a Little, illustrated by Lisa Hetrick.  The second set is called Grand Garden, illustrated by Alicia Krupsky.

 

Oh goodness, how I adore Lisa's style and I am absolutely in love with the new Just a Little stamp set!  I embossed the main large image using white embossing powder and did a little messy watercoloring.  And do you see those stripes in the background?  Yeah, they are included in this stamp set as well and I looooove them! 

 

 

 

Oh man, I am smitten with Alicia's flowers!!  I adore how she illustrated this flower....it looks like it is coming right off of the card!  :-)  Not only is the flower lovely, but the set is full of a lot of beautiful sentiments!

 

Because I just can't help myself sometimes, I covered the flower with glitter.  I mean, a little sparkle never hurt anyone right?  :-)

 Today we are featuring two brand new stamp sets.  The first one is illustrated by Theresa Momber and is called Tropical Tidings.  The second is the new incentive set, Inspiring Poppies. 

 

Goodness, the new Tropical Tidings set is so darned pretty!  Theresa illustrates the most realistic and beautiful nature images and this set is another example of that!  When I first saw this set I was immediately drawn to this stunning butterfly!  I mean, it is simply gorgeous!  I love that there is one by itself and more nestled in some greenery.  I also just love the variety this set has!

 

My second card features the new Inspiring Poppies set.  This set is completely free with any $75 purchase!  Poppies are one of my favorite flowers so I was especially excited to see this set!

Gina K. Designs Hot Summer Release Day 1

 Today we are featuring two brand new stamp sets.  The first one is illustrated by Melanie Muenchinger and is called This Girl Is.  The second set is illustrated by Beth Silaika and is called Unicorn Wishes.

 

When I first saw Melanie's newest set, I was so moved by the illustration.  I'm not exactly sure I can adequately describe it, but there is just so much emotion expressed in the girl's face.  There's joy, fierceness, freedom, and confidence...all wrapped up in one expression!  I absolutely love it!

 

After stamping and coloring the images in with Copics, I die cut it out using the Double Stitched Ovals die set.  I embellished with some twine and flowers.

 

 

My next card features the Unicorn Wishes stamp set.  This set is just a whole lot of fun!!  You just can't help but smile!

 

I colored the unicorn in with Copics and then hand cut it out.  I die cut the white panel out using one of the dies from the Double Stitched Rectangle die set.  I embellished with some shiny white sequins.

Blooming Good Birthday

 Hi friends!  I'm hosting this month's Monthly Mix Challenge over at StampTV!  If you are new to this challenge, it's a super fun and easy way to be entered to win a $75 Gift Certificate to the Gina K. Designs store!  My challenge is called Gray is the New Black, and I am challenging you to use gray as one of the main colors in your creation.  You can see all of the challenge details HERE.

Here is what I created for the challenge...

 

I absolutely LOVE gray, and Gina's new Slate gray is such a lovely dark gray!  I particularly love adding bright and bold colors with a dark gray.  I started by stamping some of the leaves and swirls from the new Layered Daisies set from the Sunshine and Love StampTV Kit using Slate ink.  I added the brightly colored daisies that I stamped and die cut, popping some of them up with dimensional foam.  The sentiment that I used is from a set called Wealth of Wishes and is this month's incentive set (free with a $75 purchase).
