Making Spirits Bright

Hi there!  I hope all of my American friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! 

Now that Thanksgiving is over, I am in full Christmas mode now!  :-)  And what better way to kick off full Christmas mode than sharing a Christmas card?  :-)

 

For my card, I started by embossing one of the tree images from Making Spirits Bright stamp set by Memory Box.  I have long admired and enjoyed Memory Box dies, but have only recently been introduced to their stamp sets!  I can say that I love them equally as much as their dies!  :-)  Speaking of dies, I used the coordinating Making Spirits Bright die set to cut out the snowflakes.  For a little contrast against the white cardstock, I added a black strip of cardstock with part of the sentiment embossed on it.  For embellishment, I added some matching rhinestones, making sure that the card is still flat enough to mail without extra postage.

 

Well, that's all from me today!  Expect to see a lot more Christmas cards and projects in the following week or two!  :-)

Love & Joy

Hi there!  Today I'm sharing my first Christmas card for this year!  I normally start on this earlier, but for some reason I have been dragging my feet in accepting that it is no longer summer!  Ha! 

 

For my card I used the super cute Love & Laughter stamp set.  This set was designed by Memory Box exclusively for Simon Says Stamp's STAMPtember month long celebration!  I love, love, love the sweet little bunnies and the old fashioned lamp post!  It might be hard to see on the photo, but I added some glitter and Diamond Glaze to the bottom of the card, to create the look of sparkly ice.  :-)

For those of you that don't like to fussy cut, there is even an option to purchase the stamp with the coordinating dies (you can see that HERE)!
