Hi there! Long time no post! Life certainly has a way of getting in the way of things we want to do sometimes, am I right? :-) I spent a little time in my craft room and let me tell you, it was wonderful! I mean, I have ink on my fingers again! Woot!
Today, I am so excited to be sharing some goodies created with the upcoming March Ink to Paper release!
My first project features the new Berry Best Mom stamp set and coordinating die set along with the new Dainty Deliveries Box die!
The Berry Best mom set may be a small set but there are so many fun images that can be used year round! And these strawberries...Gah! How sweet are they?
For the background, I actually cut a panel from the new Dainty Deliveries Box die. I love the tone on tone texture it adds as well as coordinates with the box! I also want to point out the gorgeous flowers from the new Prominent Petals. I loooooove them! They are so unique and can be whimsical or elegant depending on you dress them up!
To create the box, I die cut the Dainty Deliveries Box die twice and adhered them together using a strong adhesive. I added just a bit of ink sponging on the the box to add some texture. I also lined the box with white cardstock. I liked the softer look the white gives it as well as the added stability.

My second project features more of the Berry Best Mom stamp and coordinating die set. When working with smaller images, I love to use the color blocking technique. After adhering the cardstock pieces, I used the Stencil Basics: Dots and Versamark ink to create a subtle background texture.
I wanted to break up the different color pieces even more so I added a bit of machine stitching. I accented the Berry Best Mom images with a couple of flowers and leaf sprig from the new Prominent Petals set.
I just couldn't help myself, I had too add a bit of glitter. I love a little bit of sparkle! :-)

My last project features more of the Dainty Deliveries Box die!
This time, I didn't punch out the negative parts of the floral design. I created the box using Weathervane cardstock and strong adhesive.
I decorated the box using the previously released Bold Blooms stamp and die set. I embossed the sentiment (from the Just Sentiments: Mother's Day set) in silver on a die cut banner (from the Banner Builders: Basics die set).

Thanks so much for joining me here today! I'm excited to be back in my craft room creating again! :-)
