Happy Fall-idays - Christmas Gift Card Holders

 

 Hi friends!  Today is the last day of the Reverse Confetti  inspirational showcase event!  Today, the focus is on Christmas (hands down my favorite holiday)!

 

The last few year, I have been giving a lot more gift cards as gifts.  I like to decorate some packaging for them, instead of just sliding them into a card.  My first project features one of the new Frosted Pillow Boxes!  They are perfectly sized for gift cards!  Since both of my cards are Starbucks gift cards, I decorated them using Caffeinated Cups set and coordinating Caffeinated Cups Confetti Cuts dies set.

 

I added a snowflake (made with the Layered Snowflake Confetti Cuts die set) as well as a small tag made with the Tag Me Confetti Cuts and the Winter Words Confetti Cuts die set.

 

My second project is a gift card box that I created using my Silhouette machine and more RC stamps and dies!  I again used the Caffeinated Cups stamp set and coordinating Caffeinated Cups Confetti Cuts.  To decorate them a bit more, I added in some holly made with the new Holly Confetti Cuts dies.

I die cut the sleeve out of felt and did some machine stitching.  It actually looks like a coffee cozy that I have in my car!  :-)  See those polka dots in the background?  I stamped them using the Whole Lotta Dots stamp set.

 

 

I love to give gifts that I personally would love to receive...and Starbucks gift cards are high on my list!  LOL!

June Reverse Confetti Blog Hop...

 

Hello June and Hello Reverse Confetti Fans! It’s the 8th of the month and that means it’s time for a creative Blog Hop from Reverse Confetti. Last month’s release was fantastic and today we are inspiring you with projects and cards using those stamps. We’ve also invited some extra friends that helped us launch the new company last month, to join in on the fun! Are you ready?

For my card, I used the I Like You set.  It is no secret...I do like coffee!  :-)  As soon as I saw this set, I knew I wanted to make this card!  I used a shaped card file from the Silhouette store and cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo.

Bella BLVD meets Silhouette Chipboard!

Happy Sunday friends and a very Happy Mother's Day to you!  Today I have a couple of fun projects (and a card) to share with you! 

Silhouette's May Promotion is now in full swing and I had the honor to create some projects using one of their newest products - Silhouette Chipboard! 

One of the projects that I couldn't wait to create using the Silhouette Chipboard was a gift container! The heavier weight lends itself nicely to holding heavier gifts! I started by cutting out the Fruit Basket shape using my Cameo, assembling it, and then adding some white wash paint over it. I decorated it with a strip of Bella patterned paper, Ciao Chip, and a Button Market button!

The shape file that I used is called 3-D Bushel Fruit Basket. 

Here's a peek at the tag that I included with the basket.  I will be giving this to my three boys' bus driver.  :-)

For my next project I created a little Baby mini album! I cut out album pages using my Silhouette Cameo and some Silhouette Chipboard. I then cut some Baby Boy pages using the same cut files. Both the front and back have different patterns (all from the Bella Baby Boy collection). I decorated the front of the Album using some coordinating Baby Boy Ciao Chip pieces, Alpha+Bits Stickers, a couple of Saltwater Feathers, and a Star Button.

The name of the cut file that I used for this album is called 3 Tabbed Mini Album.

I love adding both dimension and texture to my cards, so the idea of being able to create my own custom chipboard pieces really appealed to me! I used my Silhouette Cameo, Silhouette Chipboard, and various Bella patterned papers to cut out the tree and heart shapes for my card. For embellishments, I added a Miniature Card Sentiment and two Button Market buttons!

The names of the cut files that I used for this card are Echo Park Tree and Hearts Set.

A Great Pear...

Happy Thursday!  It's "Cards on Thursday" over at the Bella Blog, and I thought I would share the two cards I made here as well.  :-)

Did you know that Bella BLVD has stamps??  Oh yeah!!  They are co-branded with Unity Stamps (I love the cling red rubber) and they are fabulous!!  I used the flowers from the Celebrate in Style set along with the sentiment from the So Happy For You set.

I stamped the flowers three different times (they are all a part of one stamp), cut them out, and then popped them up.

Isn't that a GREAT stamp?  I just love chevrons and polka dots together, and Bella has so many cute chevron and polka to choose from! For this card, I combined some patterned paper from the Making the Team and Birthday Girl collections. For the focal image, I stamped the pears (from the Itty Bitty by Unity Great Pear stamps), colored one of the pears in using my Copic markers, and then added a heart sticker.

Here's a close up of the sentiment that I stamped along the bottom.  Oh, and that CUTE button!  :-)  I love Bella's buttons!

Cheery Bella BLVD Cards...

 Hi friends!  It's Thursday today...and that means it's also Cards on Thursdays over at the Bella Blog!  Here are the two cards that I created...

I just couldn't resist using Bella's new Kiss Me collection again!  The colors are SO fun and trendy and I thought they would look great on a flower pot shaped card!

I used my Silhouette Cameo (and a shape from the Silhouette Store) to cut out both the flower pot and the insert.  I added some texture to the base and then layered on a tag from the Kiss Me Alpha & Bits.



Here's a look at the insert.  I used one of the Just Write Journaling Stickers and then added on some alphabet stickers (from the Piggy Punch Sophisticates High Five Alphas).

My next card is a soft and girly birthday card (to replenish my birthday card stash).  This card features papers from the Sophisticates and Birthday Girl collections.

For embellishments, I added two different chipboard pieces, a sentiment sticker, and a pretty Daisy Crochet Flower!
