Welcome back to the third day of the December Ink to Paper release countdown posts! Hearts, flowers, gorgeous dies, and celebrations...you are going to LOVE this release! As always, the release will go live on the 15th of the month at 10 pm ET.
Today we are sharing projects featuring the new I Heart You stamp and die set, Just Sentiments: Valentine stamp set, On The Border: Heart Frame die, and To Die For Sentiments: Love die set.
This first card is an ode to my love of all things rainbow! I mean, it's completely normal to be completely obsessed with ROYGBIV, right? Like, I would decorate my whole house like this if I thought my husband would be remotely okay with it. 🤷‍♀️
I used one of the images from the Watercolor Textures: Brushstrokes stamp set and stamped it five times using the following colors: Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest, Harvest Gold, Green Parakeet, and Aqua Mist.
I stamped the Love sentiment from the Just Sentiments: Valentine set as well as the You heart. There isn't a die for this set so I fussy cut the hearts but thankfully it was super easy and fast to do! :-)
For my next card, I went back to my stamping roots: mix & matching patterned paper, ribbon, machine stitching, and inked edges. Oh, and I threw in some vellum, because...well, vellum is always a good idea! :-)
I used the I Heart You die set for the focal images and added a sentiment from the Just Sentiments: Valentine set.
For my next card, I used the smaller heart and the small heart border. I wanted the hearts to look like flowers and the banner like leaves. I added some machine stitching to add to the vine/flower look.
I did a bit of ink blending on the background using Aqua Mist.
For embellishment, I added a few wooden hearts as well as some clear rhinestones.
My final card today features the new On The Border: Heart Frame die and To Die For Sentiments: Love die set.
Isn't this die goooooorrrgeous?!! I adore it so very much! I love how the inner heart can be used separately if desired!
I decided to pop the inner heart up for some added dimension. I layered on the die cut Love sentiment, die cut from the new To Die For Sentiments: Love die set.
I have to say that this card might just be my favorite so far! I am digging the color combo...so much so that I want to make a whole bunch more cards using it! Ha! Seriously though, Soft Stone for the die cut, especially layered over a white or ombre background is definitely going to be happening a lot more!
The Be Mine sentiment is from the Just Sentiments: Valentine set.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
