Today I'm sharing a card featuring the Splendid Snowflakes and Inside Greetings: Blessed Beyond Measures sets!
So, this is my take on the modern rustic look that is so popular right now! I never would have thought these two looks would mesh well together but I have to say that I LOVE it!
I started by embossing the sentiment (from Inside Greetings: Blessed Beyond Measure) onto a piece of vellum. I layered that over the patterned paper so that the sentiment would show up but still allow the pattern to shine through.
Here's another fun stamping fact about me... Embossing is actually the very first technique that I learned and is what ultimately drew me to this hobby! I was so mesmerized by it and had to emboss ALL the things! Funny how that never really went away! LOL!
I layered the On The Border: Splendid Snowflake Border, a die cut snowflake (from the Splendid Snowflakes die set), as well as the die cut sentiment (from the To-Die For Sentiments: Christmas die set). For embellishment, I added some silver jingle bells and black twine.
