Hey friends! It's Throwback Thursday today over at the Papertrey Ink blog!
My card today features the Meadow Greens stamp set. I LOVE leaves and greenery stamps so naturally I'm drawn to this set. I also really love the sentiments and the mix of fonts!
I chose one of my favorite color combos for my card: bright blue (Blueprint Distress Ink), Tropical Teal, and Limeade Ice. Blues and greens just go so nicely together, don't they?
I created the background by first spritzing watercolor paper with water. I then stamped three different leaves (included in the Meadow Greens stamp set) using Distress Inks. I then spritzed the paper with water again to allow the inks to run a bit. To add even more depth, I splattered the background (once it was dry) with gold and black paint.
I used the Pierced Feature Frames: Oval to create the oval frame. For embellishment, I sprinkled on some sequins.
